Web Historian is a museum with the lights left on and the ropes taken down. We tell the stories of the old internet and the wider past, the forgotten software, the dial-up rituals, the antiques and oddities that shaped how we got here. History, but the interesting bits nobody put in the textbook.
Every post is a story first. We’re less bothered about dry dates and more about the human moments: the message board that became a movement, the gadget that was ahead of its time, the thing everyone used and then quietly forgot. If it happened and it’s worth remembering, we’ll dust it off and make it a good read.
